YZERFONTEIN NEIGHBOURHOOD WATCH SERVICE AREA

Yzerfontein is a small harbour town on the west coast of South Africa. Sixteen Mile Beach, stretching north from the main beach of the town, and the West Coast National Park border the town in the north. To the west, the town is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean. In the south, the town borders on Tygerfontein, a private nature reserve. Turning off from the R27, the West Coast Road, is the R315, which provides the only access to the town. The area between the West Coast Road and Yzerfontein is agricultural private land and borders the town on the east.

Yzerfontein is located in Swartland Municipal Ward 5 and resorts under the SAPS Vredenburg district.
